Custom Order - Design it Your Way

You're here because let's face it, you know what works and you know what you want. I get it, I have my favorite colors, patterns and styles. And yes I will keep everything a secret like that big fish story every angler likes to tell at Christmas followed by, "I cannot wait until Spring!".

The good news is I can create a pattern on a lure that you think about on your way home from the lake. You know the pattern or color that would have just slayed them that day. I mean if you had that lure and pattern. Well now you can!

This is the part where you let Matsuda Custom Baits bring the quality and detail but with your design.

Here is how it works. Below you will find a custom order form. What I need from you is:

1. What blank lure(s) are we using? Please include the name of the blank, the action and the quality. For ex:
   
   • 1.5 Square Bill
     
   • Silent
   • 4 Quantity
   • Holographic? (Now available on all baits)
     
     
2. Describe in specific detail what you want your custom bait to look like. Such as colors and placement of the colors. Refer to the picture below. Note: this is just a guideline.
   
   
   
   
3. Is there a specific pattern and/or features? For ex:
   
   • Perch pattern with Pearl Red Stripes
     
     
4. Things you think I should know: An example would be a painted or clear bill or feathered treble hooks. If it is hard to explain then please draw me a picture. I like seeing other artist's works!
   
   
5. Regardless, I will contact you via email or phone if you prefer, to collaborate the final details and confirm all bases are covered. Hey if you want sparkle you will get sparkle!
   
   
6. Before the magic starts happening I will create a custom invoice tailored to your custom order. It will be emailed and ready for payment through an encrypted Shopify link. As soon as the payment is processed I will begin creating your custom order.
   
   
7. WAIT! If you are thinking about a custom order but are discouraged as a lot of thinking and preparation has to take place to create a smooth and flowing pattern. Just write me your ideas below and I would be happy to make suggestions or give ideas. Also if you have a pattern but I don't have a blank that suits your needs, I can locate them to the best of my ability for you. I will add if I have to order certain blanks there will be a surcharge of having them shipped to my studio. If I find the blanks are not up to Matsuda Custom Baits quality I WILL NOT USE THEM. There are a lot of low quality blanks out there and more importantly you won't be charged. I strictly use an American vendor that has a reputation for the highest quality blanks and I would agree that they are Quality!
   
   
8. REPAINTS/TOUCH UP. If you have a lure or swim bait that you would like repainted or touch up, more than likely I can make that happen for you. Just use the custom orders box below and let me know what you are thinking.
